Before Ryan and the kids came into the picture, I was that person who spent every morning at Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, McDonald’s – you name it. By far, Starbucks is my go-to if I have a choice.
My favorite thing about Starbucks is that they constantly keep their customers happy. There is always something new and it’s always a huge hit. Right now we are all raving about the PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte). On September 1st, most locations began selling this amazing fall drink and I just could NOT wait!
The problem is if I were to go to Starbucks every day for a PSL, I could easily spend about $5.00 a day. And I really don’t want to do that. There are just so many other things I could spend that money on. With that being said, I still want to be able to enjoy a PSL whenever I want. Therefore, we created a Starbucks inspired Pumpkin Spice Latte for you to make and enjoy any time of the day.

2 Cups milk
2 Tbsp canned pumpkin
2 Tbsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp sugar
½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
¼- ½ cup espresso
- Start by combining the milk, pumpkin, and sugar in a pot. Stir over medium heat until steamed.
- Remove the pot from the heat and pour in the vanilla extract and pumpkin pie spice.
- Then, put mixture into a blender and process for a few seconds, until it is foamy. If you do not want to use the blender, you can also just whisk the mixture until it becomes foamy.
- Finally, pour into your favorite mug, add in the espresso, top with whip cream and sprinkle with the spice.
