Do you ever feel that Jell-O is just boring? Don’t get me wrong the kids absolutely love it. I guess it’s the presentation that isn’t very appealing.
In our home we are used to making the Jell-O and placing it in a cup. Nothing fancy. Well, I wanted to give the kids a fun version of Jell-O.
Marshmallow and Jell-O Rollups is super easy to make. It was simple enough that Hailey was able to join in on the fun. She is 3 and is amazed at how things come together. What made this extra special is that she never knew how Jell-O was made so this was definitely an experience for her.
So grab your Jell-O and get ready to surprise your little ones. They will seriously think you’re the coolest mom around town.
8 oz Marshmallows
Small package of Jell-O
8 by 8 inch Pan (Greased)
½ cup Boiled Water
Pour the Jell-O into a microwave safe bowl. Add the hot water and mix until the Jell-O is completely dissolved. Once the Jell-O is dissolved, mix in the marshmallows and place in the microwave for 30-60 seconds. Mix until the marshmallows are melted. You will notice that the marshmallows will rise to the top of the mixture and that is okay.
Now, we are ready to pour the mixture into the pan. Place the pan into the refrigerator for an hour.
We just left it in overnight so that the kids had something to look forward to when they woke up the next morning. When the Jell-O is ready to come out, cut around the edges with a knife. Roll the Jell-O and cut into desired pieces.
