The decorations are up, gifts are wrapped, and the kids are excited!
The countdown till Christmas has officially begun. We have been doing a lot of last-minute shopping and prepping for the big days ahead. We are leaving for New York on Thursday so I am trying to keep the holiday season alive in our home for the next few days. I don’t want the kids to think that they won’t have an amazing Christmas just because we won’t be home. Instead, I am doing everything I can to get them excited about the most important time of the year. That includes making some totally awesome treats.
My kids are always super excited about the Christmas tree. At this age, it’s probably the only thing they really care about. We incorporated the tree theme into our treats this week. These Christmas Treets are the easiest desserts I’ve ever made. Seriously, they took about 10 minutes and they look absolutely stunning. They’re so cute which makes it hard to want to eat them. The kids, on the other hand, they want to devour them!
Are you ready to make this Christmas unforgettable?
Check out the recipe below!
- Entenmann's Little Bites- Fudge Brownie
- Toothpicks cut in half
- strawberries cut out the leaves
- Sugar Pearls - Gold
- Pillsbury- Vibrant Green Vanilla Frosting
- piping bag
- Star nozzle for frosting
Begin by taking out the little bites and setting them on a flat surface.
Place a toothpick in the center of each brownie bite
Next, stick a strawberry (the leaves facing down) down the center of each toothpick.
Place the star nozzle and the frosting inside the piping bag.
Start frosting the strawberry so that it looks like a tree.
Finally, place the sugar pearls on the tree so that it resembles the ornaments or a Christmas tree. Enjoy!
